The Muse Magazine Fan Page is an independent Web site unaffiliated with the Cricket Magazine Group or its parent company, Carus Publishing Company. The Muse staff members who contribute to the site, including its webmaster, Robert Coontz, work for the magazine as part-time contractors; no full-time Carus employee is involved in the Fan Page. The site is hosted by Superb Internet, an Internet services company based in Vancouver, Canada.

We created this site because we are fans ourselves—fans of the magazine and of its readers, whose thoughtful, exuberantly funny letters continually demand more Muse than Muse can supply in nine issues a year. We hope that the Fan Page helps them pass the time between issues, and we will do our best to keep it interesting for them.

We also take care to safeguard their privacy. Visitors to the site can communicate only with the Webmaster, not directly with one another. In the parts of the site devoted to online postings, we make sure that messages contain only minimal information about the sender: at most first name, last initial, age, city, and state or country. No contact information about visitors (postal or e-mail addresses or phone numbers) is posted anywhere on the site, and we discard any such information that might come our way. Some sites listed on our Links Page undoubtedly have less restrictive policies, but we screen out any that look too sinister. If any of them do cause trouble, please let us know at webmaster@musefanpage.com.
