Would you rather have a tape dispensing mouth or a stapler nose?
My Language Arts teacher used that for a writing prompt once.
1 – Stapler nose.
Would you rather have wings, gills,or a prehensile tail? I think I would want wings.
Second post?
Gills Without a doubt.
and a tape mouth.
Would you rather have really long toenails, or a unibrow?
Wow. Three posts, three questions. Tape mouth, wings, toenails. Star Wars or Star Trek?
Star Trek!
STAR TREK!!!!
*is a trekkie zombie*
3- toenails.
Would you rather have a tape dispensing mouth or a stapler nose?
Tape dispensing mouth. I love tape.
Would you rather have wings, gills,or a prehensile tail?
Wings.
Would you rather have really long toenails, or a unibrow?
Well, if I could cut the toenails, then long toenails. But if not, the unibrow because I could wax it.
Star Wars or Star Trek?
Star Wars.
tape dispenser mouth, gills, really long toenails, Star Wars. Would you rather go trick-or-treating without a costume or only get to wear a costume to school?
Stapler nose, wings, long toenails, Star Wars.
Mac or PC?
1. Tape mouth
2. Wings
3. Toenails
4. Star Wars!!!
Galaxy Quest or Spaceballs?
Since no one seems to want a prehensile tail, I will ask another tail-related question.
If you had to have some kind of animal tail, what animal would it be?
I would say probably either a monkey tail, because it would be useful in climbing, or a peacock tail, because they’re pretty.
An albino peacock tail, because they look like snowflakes, or just a long smooth rubbery turquoise tail that could curl around and do cool things by itself without my hands moving it and it could whap people in the face.
I’d like a prehensile tail.
Costume to school, Spaceballs (w00t!), and a spider monkey tail because it’d be like a third arm.
Tape mouth.
Wings. Although gills would be awfully cool. So would a prehensile tale, actually. Could I have all three?
Unibrow. Like in Little, Big.
Neither Star Trek or Star Wars.
Costume to school.
Mac. PCs scare me.
Galaxy Quest is awesome!
Re: Tails: Gosh, I don’t even know.
“Galaxy Quest” is indeed awesome.
Tape mouth, wings, unibrow, Star Wars, going w/o a costume, Spaceballs, monkey tail.
Startrek or Starwars?
Stargate
Would you rather go trick-or-treating without a costume or only get to wear a costume to school?
Trick or Treat without a costume. (Although going to school in a costume on occation would be fun!)
Mac or PC?
PC. I’ve never had a Mac but we used them in elementary school and I don’t remember enjoying them much.
Galaxy Quest or Spaceballs?
Spaceballs. I’ve only seen like, 5 minutes of if but I’ve never seen Galaxy Quest. (Or heard of it.)
If you had to have some kind of animal tail, what animal would it be?
Ummm…..a rabbit tail. They are mostly unnoticable.
15- Star Wars for sure.
Star wars is light-years better than Star Trek !!!
Mac. Galaxy Quest!!! Costume to school (I reallized I never answered my own question). Cat tail (they’re slinky and cool. I have 3 cats.)
Macs and HPB tails!
21- HPBs don’t have tails. Just fangs.
Would you rather have a tape dispensing mouth or a stapler nose?
Tape dispensing mouth. I can’t very well put a piece of paper in my nose, can I?
Uh oh. My darling and lovely sister (Gwyn the Bando) is threatening death if I don’t cease my hold on the keyboard now. Later.
Would you rather have a tape dispensing mouth or a stapler nose?
neither would be pleasant but I would go for the tape probably, it’s more handy
Would you rather have wings, gills,or a prehensile tail?</b.
Wings.
Would you rather have really long toenails, or a unibrow? tonails all the way.
Star Wars or Star Trek?
I am not familiar with either.
Would you rather go trick-or-treating without a costume or only get to wear a costume to school?
costume to school. trick or treating without a costume is just plain laaaaaaame.
Mac or PC
PC. I despise macs.
If you had to have some kind of animal tail, what animal would it be?
kitty kat tail, or a lion tail.
alice in wonderland or the looking glass wars
alice in wonderland. because it is full of clever verse.
24- Alice in Wonderland!
MAC OR PC!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m a Mac person.
Be a character in an anime or a computer game?
Anime.
26 – PCs all the way!
27 – Anime.
Be a llama or a duck? ;D
I’d like to be a ldluacmka
What the crap? The comment box changed back my name to TPOSG–I’m sure I changed it back to tesseract. Well, I just killed this alter ego by accident on the Romance and Relationships thread anyway, so… >.<
Mac. Although, in general, I am fine with PC’s as well. I kinda grew up with both, so…..However, I have heard Vista really sucks, so I don’t think I would be too keen on a PC now…..
Tape dispensing mouth or stapler nose?
Definitely a tape dispensing mouth because I don’t use staples!
Would you rather have wings, gills,or a prehensile tail?
Gills because the under water world is awesome.
Would you rather have really long toenails, or a unibrow?
Unibrow because I’d look spooky.
If you had to have some kind of animal tail, what animal would it be?
A boa constrictor tail. You could almost call the entire boa constrictor a tail, so what part I might have is up in the air. But I could strangle my brother with it if I needed to!
Mac or PC?
Macs are decent, but I don’t really like the operating system setup. Anyhow most of the stuff I do needs windows OS. I like windows more anyhow!
By the way, I’m running windows vista right now and love it. I think some of those reviews are bogus.
32–I’m not talking about online reviews, but things I’ve heard straight from people with vista. I don’t think they were making it up that they didn’t like it. I’m not saying that it is for sure horrible (I’ve never used it), that’s justwhat I’ve heard from some people.
I guess it probably depends on what computer you have and how it performs. I haven’t had any bugs, but if I did I’d hate it. I’m just big on looks. That’s why I like vista more than XP. But is it really better, probably not. It is just different. I like different!
Would you rather have a tape dispensing mouth or a stapler nose?

Which of these is a better idea:
a. To paint colorful abstract murals on roads to prevent them from being just GRAY.
b. To write stories on roads (in a similar fashion to how STOP is sometimes painted on roads), so that you can read them while you drive.
Colroful murals!
Definitely murals. Stories would distract drivers.
I’m just answering any of these that catch my attention. x3
Wings, gills, or prehensile tail?
Tough choice between tail and wings, but I rather like the tail idea. x3 Wings are high-maintenance.
Star Trek or Star Wars?
Stargate. -amused by self-
Trick-or-treating question that is too long to retype.
I don’t trick-or-treat–parents insist on me being a princess. o3o
Murals or stories on roads?
Both would probably result in car accidents, so I wouldn’t do either. But if I had to, murals are less distracting.
Thank you all you mac people!!!!
Would you rather have a tape dispensing mouth or a stapler nose?
Tape.
Would you rather have wings, gills,or a prehensile tail?

DRAGON
Alice in wonderland or the looking glass wars?
Alice in Wonderland
Anime or computer game?
Computer game
Llama or duck?
Llama.
a. If there was a story on the road people would get in accidents.
39 – a. The stories would be way too distracting.
Would you rather know nothing or feel no emotions?
Consider the following scenario: You have been saving money for years, and finally you had enough to buy a Ferrari. One day, you are driving in your new Ferrari. You approach train tracks and notice that a baby is on them and a train is approaching. You do not know this baby in any way. You have enough time to drive onto the train tracks, get out of your car, grab the baby, and jump off the tracks, if you choose to, but your car will be ruined. You do not have car insurance and you will have to save your money for many more years in order to replace it. Would you save the baby or the Ferrari?
Baby, and feel no emotions.
Let’s see…I don’t know what my answer is for some of these, so I’ll answer the ones that jumped out at me.
Wings. Star Wars. (Never seen Star Trek.) Phoenix’ tail. Alice in Wonderland. Duck. (I think llamas are creepy. Don’t ask.) Murals, I think. Save the baby. No doubt about it. Now if you said Volkswagen bug car on the other hand… I’d still save the baby. Probably. (Just joking. I’d save the baby no matter what car I was driving.)
Do you prefer: Lord of the Rings or The Chronicles of Narnia?
Save the baby!
LOTR, duhhh. The baby. And feel no emotions.
45 – LoTR. No doubt about it.
39- a. For the same reason everyone else has given.
43- Know nothing. I love knowledge, but lately my emotions have been incredible and I don’t want to give them up.
45- LOTR. No contest.
39- neither.
44- well. I would stop the car, get out and save the baby. I don’t need ta park my car on the tracks. but i value human life more than a hunk of metal.
45- hmmm. I don’t know. I fell that LOTR is better written and more thought through but I like both.
44 – Why would I have bought a stinkin’ Ferrari in the first place?
45 – LOTR, without a doubt.
44- Baby.
LotR or Narnia?
Lord of the Rings~ No question there.
Baby or Ferrari?
I don’t like cars and I can’t drive, so chances are I wouldn’t have this situation in the first place. And I’d probably get killed doing it, because I’m clumsy and stupid like that. But baby. I’m pretty sure about it.
Pop or rock music? (I’d say ambient or rock, but chances are I wouldn’t get many responses of the former. D:)
@44 – Ferrari – NOW HEAR ME OUT.
When the train hits the Ferrari that you’re all so conveniently placing it its tracks, it’s going to crash. Killing thousands of people versus one baby? For shame.
/gradster(1)/ – Secretary of Bureaucracy of ASAP
53- Yes, well. We went over this in Global Studies. My answer remains the same.
Tape mouth or stapler nose?
Tape mouth.
Wings, gills, or the tail thingy?
By far, wings.

Long toenails.
Star Wars or Star Trek?
Star Wars.
Mac or PC?
PC.
If you had to have some kind of animal tail, what animal would it be?

Alice in wonderland or the looking glass wars?
Alice in Wonderland
Anime or computer game?
Computer game
Llama or duck?
Duck
Would you rather know nothing or feel no emotions?
I’d rather know nothing, but neither is preferable.
Ferrari or baby?
What kind of sick animal would choose the Ferrari? I for one, would definitely go with baby! And as for post 53, the train would probably just push the Ferrari out of the way.
Do you prefer: Lord of the Rings or The Chronicles of Narnia?
Narnia, sorry to the majority.
Pop or rock music?
Rock.
Do you prefer Harry Potter or Eragon?
Harry Potter. Je n’aime pas l’Eragon.
Okay, looks like it’s Lord of the Rings–6 Narnia–1, so far. Yeah, I pretty much expected that.
Pop or rock? Depends.
Harry Potter or Eragon? Eragon. It isn’t on my favorites list, but Harry Potter isn’t my cup of tea.

Baby
LOTR

Never a neophyte
A new question- If you had to attach a one or two word label to yourself, what would it be?
Bookworm
Muse-Horn
If you had to attach a one or two word label to yourself, what would it be?
Nerd. It’s all-encompassing. ;D And I don’t view it negatively, so… yep.
I would also say “Nerd”.
OMGness! I haven’t been on here in forever!
59) Cheese fanatic. Tis true.
Rock or Pop? Rock, but not heavy metal.
Harry Potter or Eragon? Harry Potter.
Corn of Hedge mazes? Corn mazes!

NEw Question!
If you had to be an element (on periodic table), which one would you be?
Now it’s LotR-8 Narnia-2.
It’s also Dance-1 Sing-1.
Everyone likes corn mazes so far. Interesting….
Attach a label to myself? “Me” It could mean anything and it describes who I am perfectly.
You have a hundred dollars. You can spend it all on music or all on books, but not both. Which do you choose?
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKS MUST…. HAVE….. BOOKS
*is book zombie*
Pop or rock? pop
Harry Potter or Eragon? Hate HP, but never read Eragon, so I’ll go with HP.
Hedge mazes or corn mazes? hedge
Would you rather dance in front of a crowd or sing in front of a crowd? sing. I do it all the time, I’m a performer.
Would you rather be in a movie or watch a movie? In.
Always be considered a neophyte or never be considered one? never
label: singer. Perfectly describes me.
I’d be silver.
Music, sad to say. I love music a tiiiiiiny bit more than I love books.
62) Books, of course.
I think I would be Magnesium because Mg is awesome.
Hedge mazes or corn mazes? hedge
Would you rather dance in front of a crowd or sing in front of a crowd? dance.

Canada or the US of A?
I’m just a-wonderin’
Pop or rock?
Rock. The Beatles are classic rock.
Harry Potter or Eragon?
Harry Potter. Eragon is ripped off of too many things. Then again, so is Harry Potter, but at least Voldemort doesn’t declare him his father/brother [see Morzan/Murtagh].
Hedge mazes or corn mazes?
Hedge mazes all the way.
Would you rather dance in front of a crowd or sing in front of a crowd?
Dance.
Would you rather be in a movie or watch a movie?
Be in a movie, as long as it’s not a starring role or anything. Maybe a minor character, or even an extra.
Always be considered a neophyte or never be considered one?
Never be considered one. I never considered myself as a neophyte when I first joined, although reflecting back on it, I was probably considered one, and a rather annoying one at that.
If you had to attach a one or two word label to yourself, what would it be?
Awesomesupersmartkindgenerousandtotallyflamablamablous
If you had to be an element (on periodic table), which one would you be?
Unununium.
You have a hundred dollars. You can spend it all on music or all on books, but not both. Which do you choose?
Put it in a bank and store it away.
I’m using Kokonilly’s formatting.
Pop or rock?
Soundtracks, haha. I’m not sure.
Harry Potter or Eragon?
Harry Potter, absolutely! I got about three chapters into Eragon a few years ago and didn’t like it. I haven’t tried to read it since, although I might soon.
Hedge mazes or corn mazes?
Corn mazes.
Would you rather dance in front of a crowd or sing in front of a crowd?
Sing, absolutely.
Would you rather be in a movie or watch a movie?
Well, considering being in a movie is a once-in-a-lifetime thing for someone like me who has no acting/singing lessons, classes, etc… be in a movie.
Always be considered a neophyte or never be considered one?
I’d prefer never to be considered one. But since I’m still in my first month on MuseBlog, I’m sure I am still considered one. Not that there’s anything wrong with being a neophyte.
If you had to attach a one or two word label to yourself, what would it be?
Already answered this one. Nerd.
If you had to be an element (on periodic table), which one would you be?
Nitrogen.
You have a hundred dollars. You can spend it all on music or all on books, but not both. Which do you choose?

HARRY POTTER!!!!!!! ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!
Hedge mazes or corn mazes?
Corn mazes, I went to one today.

Sing, I guess. But I’d much rather act.
Would you rather be in a movie or watch a movie?
Totally be in a movie. Or Broadway play.
Always be considered a neophyte or never be considered one?
Never be considered. I felt really uncomfortable when I started blogging.
If you had to attach a one or two word label to yourself, what would it be?
Wow, this is a hard one. Silly and random.
If you had to be an element (on periodic table), which one would you be?
Carbon. We’ve been watching lots of movies about carbon in school. Ugh. No, actually, I’d be potassium.
You have a hundred dollars. You can spend it all on music or all on books, but not both. Which do you choose?
Books, I already have enough music on iTunes.
Pop or rock?
Rock.
Harry Potter or Eragon?
HP. I am no longer the little 3rd grade completely obsessed with HP, but still…
Hedge mazes or corn mazes?
Hedge mazes.
Would you rather dance in front of a crowd or sing in front of a crowd?
Sing
Would you rather be in a movie or watch a movie?
Be in a movie. I love acting.
Always be considered a neophyte or never be considered one?
Never a neophyte.
If you had to attach a one or two word label to yourself, what would it be?
That’s kind of hard, because I have a kind of complex personality. But nerd probably does it.
If you had to be an element (on periodic table), which one would you be?
Francium, it’s too violent to handle.
You have a hundred dollars. You can spend it all on music or all on books, but not both. Which do you choose?
Books
Canada or US?
Canada, although I live in the US.
NEW QUESTION:
If you had to be in someone else’s body for a day, who would you pick? (This can be specific or general. For example, you could say “my friend ——,” or “[insert famous person’s name here],” or simply “someone who works in _______” or even “anyone of the opposite gender.”
I would be my friend Aoife, because everyone likes her and no one likes me.
71) What? I like you LadyGaladriel! And I’m sure that there are a milllion gazillion more people who do to! Don’t ever think of yourself that way, cause it’s not true!
Actually, I couldn’t imagine myself being in someone elses body. It would be weird…….
71- definitely Bill Gates! I could rule the world!
If you could be any animal (besides a human) what would you be?
I would be a cat, because they are intelligent, independent, can climb and jump really well, and can generally do whatever they want.
74- definitely a gyrofalcon. they are the fastest bird in level flight
(sorry about my last post, GAPA’s, I forgot my e-mail)
74- same. I love cats.
72- Thanks. I just don’t really have any school friends. I’d still be Aoife though, since it would be interesting to find out what it’s like being one of the Popular ones. Not that I’d want to keep it up.
74- Peregrine Falcon. Definitely.
71- Either a Cirque Du Soleil acrobat or an astronaut in orbit.
74- Either a dolphin or a seagull.
And then Guy Laliberte managed to do both…
I saw this question on the old Polling Place:
What foods do you associate with the different months of the year?
Also (mine) if you were creating a world in which the climate would have to be that of one month and one month only, what month would you pick? I’d pick either May or December. I love the first snow, and May has a pretty good climate.
79-I would pick April. Spring is my favorite time of year.
74) A horse probubly. Or a bird (any type, as long as it flies)
79) March. It has just the right mix of spring and winter, where I live.
Would you rather know everything and be sad or know the minimum that society allows be happy?
81- know everything and be sad.
What about the foods one?
Uh oh. Is it dying?????
If you had enough money to buy ANY car at all, which would you buy? I’d get a Honda FCX Clarity. Those get awesome mileage.
I would definitely want to know the minimum and be happy. I you are always sad what is the point in life. I’m not promoting suicide, but I think that if you are always sad and have not a second of happiness then there is not much point in life.
Who is your favorite band member in Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem? This is Muppets, and you cannot choose Animal.
I, personally, like Flloyd Pepper.
Zoot all the way.
Consider this scenario:
A train is speeding down the tracks toward five people, who will die if hit by it. However, you can pull a lever that will divert it to go onto a different track with one person on it, who will die instead. Do you pull the lever?
Now consider this scenario:
The train is speeding toward the five people. Above it, a very large person is sitting on a ledge, watching the sunset. If you push him at the right time, he will fall in front of the train, stopping it and dying. Do you push him?
I read this in the book The God Delusion. Apparently most people say they would pull the lever (one person dying instead of five), but wouldn’t push the large person (also one person dying instead of five).
86_Yeah, well how does a fat guy stop a train? Also, you’ve given more info about him.
87 – I don’t know, that’s just the way the question was in the book.
86- Well, I’d push the large person. And pull the lever.
88_My point was that it wasn’t set up well and no conclusions can be drawn.
90- Yayness! Someone else is here! Do you have vacation already? I don’t, unfortunately, but I’m home sick with a sore throat and possible fever.
POLL:
If you had to do a magic trick using only a lightbulb, a fish tank, a ten foot coil of rope, a broom, and a Sharpie, what would you perform? You do not have to use all of the items, but you can’t add any of your own.
92- I’d do the levitate-a-pencil-behind-your-hands trick with the sharpie.
91-That was my lunch break.
92-I would do the magic figure on the wall.
92- I’d melt the fish tank through the rope.
86) Oh gosh. I don’t think I would be able to do that. I think I would just hope that I will never be faced with that situation.
92) I don’t know anything about magic tricks. I wouldn’t know…..
Man, all the magic tricks I know are so lame… I’ve got to learn some new ones.
New Question!
Ham, turkey, other, or neither for Thanksgiving?
98- Turkey. Tradition always tastes the best in my opinion.
98- Neither. My family’s vegetarian.
99) I agree, turkey. Honey ham does taste mighty fine though….
I don’t believe I have an answer for #85.
98- Neither, if I have the choice. I don’t really like the taste of either.
OK! New Question!
What do you look for in giving a Christmas present?
71: There’s a girl in my PE class named Aoife! Weird.
How is that pronouced? “Eve”?
How is Eve usually pronounced? I’ve got a friend who’s name is pronounced like Ay-va, and so I thought that was normal, but I’ve also heard E-ve, like the eves of a roof.
Would you rather read all day and eat really good food or watch TV all day and eat really bad food?
Oh and by the way, you can also not eat.
Reading all day and eating really good food sounds like my idea of heaven (or at least a perfect vacation).
Anything with bad food does not sound like a good way to spend time. That is, unless by bad food you mean bad for you. But then, given that that kind of food is the best kind of food……Yeah, anyway, what our beloved GAPA said.
38- gibbons dont have tails! they’re apes!
85- all of them. I am a muppet freak
86- are the people just random strangers? if so, pull the lever and push the fat dude
98- both. (if that’s allowed )
108- bad food as in bad for you or bad-tasting or both?
read all day and eat good food. That sounds wonderful.
Ooooops … I meant bad tasting… Sorry, I never clarify anything.
Ok so here’s another one-
Bad TASTING food and books all day or good TASTING food and TV?
I’ll still stick with books!!!
114- good tasting food+TV
EWWWWW I’d rather read and starve…. ew.
106: We call her OH-fee.
(117) Interesting; in Ireland they’d say “Eefa.”
108) Reading all day and eating good food of course.
114 – The books and bad food.
Do you say shedual or skedual?
121–skedual
121- As in how do you pronounce the word schedule? ‘Cuz I say skedual.
123- yep. I figured if I spelled it more or less phonetically people would clue into the fact that I can never remember how to spell it. I was just wondering what you all said. Stuart McLean (radio host and story teller) says it shedual. I cringe every time. Not that there’s anything wrong with saying shedual. I just hate hearing it.
Kagcomix,
Most people in Britain say “shedule.” Nobody in the United States does, at least not naturally. Canadians are split, I think. Some say it defiantly, to show they’re not Americans.
125- Ah. Thank- you. I wondered. Fast moderation today! I hope you are having a good day Mr.Coontz.
“Dude! Mr. Coontz is my father.”
Well, no; technically, he’s Captain Coontz. I guess I am Mr. Coontz. Fancy that.
Yes, I’ve reached the end of my work day and am doing a few rounds of moderation before I put things away and head homeward. “See” you all later.
Of course, you can be American and train yourself to say and spell things a different way. Take me, for instance. Enough said. Ta ta.
127 – Your father’s a captain??? *thinks of Captain Von Trapp from the sound of music* Oh my.
And I say skedule.
pepsi or coke? definitely pepsi for me–Ican barely gag down coke. used to taste the samr to me, as recently as a couple years ago, but now….*shudder* it’s not that good. at all. pepsi tastes way better
129- He wasn’t THAT bad. Not compared to some people in that movie.
130. coke! Pepsi is an imitator/knockoff to me. I am not particularly fond of knockoffs/imitators. Coke tastes better to me. Pepsi…ick.
(I’m back!)
Who likes 80’s music?
I do!
132-I don’t. 130- pepsi. 121- I say skedjul.114- read w/bad food. However, I would eat a minimal amount of the food, and the books would have to be good ones. 98-turkey. I like ham though! 86- probably pull lever/push person both times. Kind of depends on who the people are though. 81- know everything and be sad-knowing only the absolute minimum would majorly platypus. 79.1-winter: any number of seed/sausage stews, as that is what I subsist on all winter long- posole, lentil soup, Ribbolita( I think it is spelled that way). Spring-Arugala. Summer- raspberries. Fall-roast chicken w/potatoes. 79.2-June. 74- a dolphin, preferably not an endangered species of them. 62-books. 58-nerd(NOT A GEEK!!!!) 56-hedge mazes, never a neophyte, sing, be in a movie 55- Harry Potter, definitely. 45-LOTR. 40-murals-less distracting. 28-llama. 27-computer game. 8- Mac 7-wear costume to school 4-star wars 2-gills 1-tape mouth.
HELLO?? Who is your favorite band member in Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem?!
130) coke
132) 80’s music is pretty good. I’ll listen to practically everything really though. Except for rap, heavy metal and techno. *shudder* Unfortunately, my sister likes to listen to those genres and……. *shudder* I can’t stand it.
134- I don’t have one.
134) I am unable to answer that question due to the fact that I am not aware of either of those bands.
New Question!
If you had the opportunity to save one endangered species, which one would it be?
137: Muppets! They are a single band- Dr. Teeth, Flloyd Pepper, Zoot, Janice, and Animal.
136: I like Flloyd Pepper.
138- Those Chinese river dolphins, if they aren’t already gone.
138: Red pandas, hands down. Seriously, look them up!
141) REALLY?! I LOVE red pandas too! That’s what I was gonna say! THat’s total awesomenessnessness!
142 *does secret “I-love-red-pandas” hand shake* It was nice that Kung Fu Panda put one in, but they do not look like mice! They look like foxes!
118- Yeah, her name is pronounced “Eefa.” Sometimes we call her “Eef.”
108- Read all day and eat really good food. My idea of heaven as well, Robert. I bet I’d finish… oh, six books a day maybe? I’m an extremely fast reader.
HELLOOOOOOOO, if you could buy any car at all what would it be?
A VW Bug. Maybe baby blue or light green?
143) Yes, I agree. Although, I think they’re more of a cross between raccoons and foxes.
144- thunderbird. a turquise one.
144- A flying one.
144- a time traveling delorian (the one from back to the future)
144: A trailer that I spray painted and I live in it. In the woods. With good connections (Internet, phone, TV). Kind of like Reclusive Gardens, almost.
144) A little volkswagon. It would most likely be green.
148- I changed my mind. I want a time-traveling Delorian, too.
One of my school’s science teachers made a website a few months ago that has a ton of “would you rather _____ or _____?” poll questions, with new ones being added every few days or so. I wish I could post the link, but suffice to say that it’s pretty cool and this thread made me think of it.
Do you make you uppercase “I’s” with the little horizontal lines on the top and bottom or do you just make a straight line?
I used to make it with the horizontal lines but I have bad handwriting and it looks neater with just the vertical line.
130- I used to not drink Coke or Pepsi but now I’d rather have Coke. I think.
153 – With just the vertical line. So my 1’s look like these ones here, and my 7’s have a line through them.
153 – Just the vertical line. I’m not sure why Kokonilly is talking about ones and sevens, but my ones are usually just vertical lines and my sevens have have a bar through them and a little mini-line coming down from the top of the seven.
153) A straight line. Although, that might be one factor going toward my absolutely awEFul handwriting. Of course, my I’s look the same as my lowercase L’s and 1’s.
Would you rather kiss a llama, an orangutan, or a manatee?
I’ve never kissed a llama, but I’ve blown into a pack llama’s nostril’s. I was told that was the way to befriend it. It seemed to work.
155 – Because my 1’s used to be straight lines. To avoid confusion… *pauses* That seems like a very boring lecture you really don’t want to hear. *leaves*
157-Definitely a manatee.
153- both. I do the straight ones when I’m doing all Caps as title for a comic. But if the title for the comic is in bubble letters the “I”s have the lines at the top and the bottom. In everyday writing I use the ones with the lines on the top and the bottom. I have no idea why I use both ways.
157- manatee.
157 – Probably a manatee.
153 – I do my capital is with the little lines at the top, my lowercase Ls and 1s as a vertical line, and my 7s like the ones on here, without the line.
157) I would say llama. Because they’re just funnily awesome.
157- a llama!!
would you rather never see snow again or live solewhere where tthere was always at lears 6 inches of snow
157 – Llama. Great, now I have IT stuck in my head… Here’s a llama, there’s a llama, there’s a fuzzy little llama…
165 – I would rather never see snow again.
165- I can’t decide.
What do you think is the point of the smiley? Here it’s often used to represent Mr. Joe, or someone zombified by an HPB. But I know that other blogs of this format have the same smileys as MuseBlog (with the exception of , which is a lightbulb on other blogs). If the point of a smiley is to show emotion, what emotion do you think the Smiley Creators had in mind when they created ?
168 – Probably a crazy grin, like if you’re telling your sister you put glue on her chair as she’s sitting on the chair. You give a crazy grin and run away. Crazy grin = . Or maybe an extreme and inverse form of blushing.
157) Manatee. Not as *shudder* furry.
169) I’d say its a smirking because it’s done something nasty.
It’s always been so irritating to me because the code/thing between : and: is my initials and one of my favorite colors.
165) Gosh. I don’t know. I’d probubly live in the snowy place
166) I have that song memorized!
169) I thought it always meant that it was an extremely happy grin. I guess not though……
171 – You honestly have that memorized?
172) Yeth! Half a llama, twice a llama, not a llama, farmer, llama, llama in a car, alarm a llama, llama, duck!
168- he looks so smug. That is what I think mr.green is.
138- the platypus. 157- a manatee. 165- never see snow again. 153- with a vertical line. 168- an insanely happy person. What is your favorite accent?
Well, I guess I like mine. Although, I’ve never noticed that I had one, until someone told me I had one. HAve you ever looked at yourself before and thought that you had an accent? I mean, I know I’ve thought of other people I’ve met of having accents, but I know that they thought that I had an accent, not them and…… yeah……. tis confusing……..
New Poll: If you could go to any one of these places on vacation, here would it be?
a) Hawaii
b) London
c) New York City
d) Japan
e) Chicago
177) London, although I have been there twice before already. I really love that city. (yes, despite any bad occurances that I have experienced there)
177- Well, I’ll look at this systematically:
A) I can scuba dive in subtropical waters without a passport and climb volcanoes.
B) Lots of museums and history, but I’ve already been there.
C) For me, this wouldn’t be a vacation, because that’s where I live.
D) No. I will not visit a country that illegally hunts whales.
E) Well, it’s a nice enough place.
Hawai’i it is, then.
177- D. I’ve been to London before. It was fun, but really big, dirty, and crowded. And I was forced to stay in a rather… “interesting” part of town for a couple days. Granted, Tokyo would be even more so, but I’ve always wanted to go to the Japanese countryside.
177 – I, too, shall analyze this.
BTDT = Been there, done that.
A) BTDT. Thrice. But the weather’s fantastic and I can have Filipino/tropical food.
B) BTDT. Too much walking, but I didn’t get to see everything.
C) BTDT. Twice. I’ve exhausted the place: I saw a Broadway show, Rockettes, Statue of Liberty, the whole deal. The only thing I didn’t see was the art museum.
D) BTDT (sort of, just the airport anyway) Ooh, a new country! Sounds lovely.
E) BTDT. I saw everything.
Japan.
181) Too much walking? Really? I guess I’m just used to it.
177- Chicago.
NEw Question!
Apples, Pears, or Oranges?:
184- Pears, hands down.
184 – Apples!
184- Apples, the green ones.
Pears! Though green apples are good to…….
New Question!
What would you do if, one day, someone dressed in a superhero suit walked up to you and shouted, “There you are! You can’t escape me now my twisted archnemises!”
A) Run away screaming
B) try to reason with the person
C) attack them in self defense
D) call your lawyer
E) call the police an have them sent to the looney bin
F) hug them
G) give them cheese
H) other
Other. I would start singing something from Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.
189-give en cheese, of course! 184-pears, if not mushy or overripe. 177- hawai’i.
189 – H (other). I would laugh hysterically in their face and give them cheese.
189- B, and if that didn’t work, I’d walk very fast to a telephone and do E.
Another question:
Who do you think was behind the Piltdown Man hoax?
http: //en. wikipedia. org / wiki/ Piltdown_Man
H) *laugh myself to death*
192) Piltdown Man hoax? Never heard of it……..
194- That’s why I added the Wikipedia link.
hmmmmmmmm. Don’t know. Maybe one of the scientists that was desperate for world renown?
I think it was Woodward and Dawson, working together.
New Question!
You and a friend are both blind and have never heard of an elephant before. How would you describe the elephant to your friend?
198- It feels like a leather-covered tube of some sort. Listen to this funny noise it mkes when I squeeze it!
Um…
Oops.
198-I would say that it was a huge rough thing with floppy things and a hose stuck to it’s head. Just out of curiosity did you get the idea for this from a book because I read a book (I can’t think of the title) where the characters talked about somthing like this.
200) No, I got it from my pastor who randomly mentioned blind people describing elephants one day……..
I would most likely to the unlucky one to to stand near the end of the elephant. I would say, “It’s really large and leathery, with a donkey like tail and……. EEK! Large turds!”
The elephant story is an old parable, as well as a poem by an American writer named John Godfrey Saxe (1816-1887). I’m not sure whether the poem adapted the parable, or vice-versa. Anyway, here’s the poem:
There were six men of Hindustan,
to learning much inclined,
Who went to see an elephant,
though all of them were blind,
That each by observation
might satisfy his mind.
The first approached the elephant,
and happening to fall
Against his broad and sturdy side,
at once began to bawl,
“This mystery of an elephant
is very like a wall.”
The second, feeling of the tusk,
cried, “Ho, what have we here,
So very round and smooth and sharp?
To me ’tis mighty clear,
This wonder of an elephant
is very like a spear.”
The third approached the elephant,
and happening to take
The squirming trunk within his hands,
thus boldly up and spake,
“I see,” quoth he, “the elephant
is very like a snake.”
The fourth reached out an eager hand,
and felt above the knee,
“What this most wondrous beast
is like is very plain” said he,
“‘Tis clear enough the elephant
is very like a tree.”
The fifth who chanced to touch the ear
said, “E’en the blindest man
Can tell what this resembles most;
deny the fact who can;
This marvel of an elephant
is very like a fan.”
The sixth no sooner had begun
about the beast to grope,
Than seizing on the swinging tail
that fell within his scope;
“I see,” said he, “the elephant
is very like a rope.”
So six blind men of Hindustan
disputed loud and long,
Each in his own opinion
exceeding stiff and strong;
Though each was partly in the right,
they all were in the wrong!
It was also in a book… The main character was a girl named Alexis? Alexa? Did anyone else read it? There were…stone like things. One red, one green, and one blue, or something. There were three books, one for each stone. And a wall…
202) Wowsers! That’s it! THanks Robert!
203- Yes I’ve read that book. The girls name is Alexa and there were sone things, I think the were called Jocastas or somthing like that and that to keep the city safe they had to destroy the walls.
OKey Day! New Poll! What should it be? I don’t know.
OH! IDEa!
What’s something that you don’t know that you think you’re going to find out about in the near/far future?
Which sport strikes you as being the most violent?
A) Rugby
B) Hockey
C) NASCAR
D) Wrestling
E) Soccer
F) Football
G) Other (heh. OK. You caught me. I just don’t wanna list ALL those different sports. Yes. I’m lazy.)
206-Rugby sounds violent. Although I’ve heard some bad things about football.
205- Ye-es… -looks up- The first was “The Dark Hills Divide”, then “Beyond the Valley of Thorns”, then “The Tenth City”. And they were the Land of Elyon books. They were enjoyable, if a bit young for me at the time (I was twelve or thirteen).
206- I think that rugby sounds the most dangerous by far.
208) Hey….. I recall that I read the first 3 books. THough you’re right, they were a little young for me as well. I liked them OK, but they annoyed me because they would never come out in paperback, so I had to order them at the library.
206) I think that hockey is fairly violent. I don’t know why, but bad things always seem to happen in hockey.
206- NASCAR.
Would you rather be:
Suspected of being a terrorist in Area 51 or suspected of blowing up the government seed vault?
Hung upsidedown until you turn as purple as a damson or be squeezed into a tiny space under a rock without much air?
Hit by a detonation and an inferno at the same time or hit by a compression and a pestilence at the same time?
212- Terrorist, Area 51. Upside down, damson. Compression, Pestilence (since the Compression would reduce the Pestilence to a blob of foul-smelling green goo, leaving me unhurt)
212- The government has a seed vault?
Anyway:
Area 51.
Upside down.
Compression and pestilence.
214-Yeah, it contains every variety of seed from around the world and is located on a remote island. It’s for if all plants on the earth die in a catastrophe.
212 – Are 51. Upside down. Pestilence. My, I sound like I’m just going along with the crowd.
There are numerous seedbanks around the world, to preserve biodiversity (if only in the genetic sense) in the face of mass extinctions. The biggest and most famous, The Svalbard Global Seed Vault, is probably the one Jakob Wonkychair is thinking of. Most serious zoos and botanical gardens have their own though.
217- Yes, I knew about the international one, I just didn’t think the US Government had one.
217-I’m not really sure who owns it. I read about it in a Popular Science article about a year ago, so I kind of forget…
On topic- Would you rather write a 850-word report on toenails in one day or take a 20-page test on Oolong tea with only one hour to study?
219 – The former. I have no idea what Oolong tea is.
212) *gulp* Wowsers. That’s terrifying to think about……..
Would you rather…
Take a 1,000 question multiple choice test with 26 choices to each question or Write a 500,000 word essay about this question?
Drink a mixture of vinegar, milk, lemon juice, powder punch, and your grandfathers backwash or Eat astronaut food deep fried with onions and sauteed spinach while having 100 people fart in the room you’re in?
222_Do you get a grade?
How large is the room?
222- Multiple choice and astronaut food.
222 – The former and the latter.
222) Oh gosh. I guess the 1000 questions. THough that’s a lot.
Ew. THat’s just gross. THough I’d have to say the onions and astronaut food with people farting, because backwash, vinegar, and milk together sound incredibly nauseating to me. I can always cover my nose. And onions taste good.
New Question!
You are stranded on a desert island with one other person. Would you rather that person be a……
a) professional basketball player
b) psychologist
c) nun
d) barber
e) secretary
f) entomologist
g) telemarketer
h) man who believes that he is Hilary Clinton
226 – A secretary, en probably has a PDA/cellphone.
206- Hockey. Fighting is allowed, and they don’t seem to be planning on banning it soon. Although they should.
210- People die. No joke.
212- All of those sound quite uncomfortable and would give me a headache. Therefore I will decline selecting one as my preference.
219- The toenails report. 850 isn’t much.
226- entymologist. It seems the most practical…. somehow….
226- I’m with Kokonilly on the secretary.
227) But would their be a connection in the middle of the ocean?
230 – Well then, it’s good company anyway. If it doesn’t help, it can’t hurt And en may have food
231) True. Secretaries are jacked up on food. I know a few and they’re like walking concession stands.
New Question!
What do you consider more hypnotizing?
a) flashing colors
b) swinging pickles
c) a tiny little light moving along a wall
d) soft music
e) other
233 – Flashing colors.
What is your favorite emoticon?
Mine is , I think.
would you rather know when you were going to die or when all of your family is going to die. Oh and I like
235 – When I would die.
You have to spend a day as a protist. What kind of protist would you want to spend your day as?
I would be an amoeba, because they can ooze around and engulf things, and are just generally cool.
233 – E. What exactly do you mean by hypnotizing?
234 – or
235 – When I will die.
236 – An ameoba.
237- By hypnotizing, I think they mean that you can’t take your eyes off it, or by staring at it, you are in a subconscious state.
233- A tiny little light.
234- Me, not my family.
236- An ameoba or a eugalena. (I probably spelled that wrong.)
Would you rather answer this question or not answer this question?
240–but if we answer the question, even if we answer “no”, we are still answering the question, and therefore we would apparently rather answer the question than not, in which case, the only honest answer would have to be “yes”.
241-I guess that means you would rather answer the question.
242–I guess.
233- soft music.
234- myself. NOT my family.
236- A little euglena. They seem interesting.
240- sure, why not?
233- Swinging pickles, naturally! (Wayside School reference there, Kiwi? Ah, I used to love those books…) Actually, a little tiny light. Especially if it kept sort of blinking back and forth… -zones out just thinking about it-
234- Um. I’d rather not think about seeing the future, ‘K? It weirds me out.
236- Animalcules! [/random]
240- No, of course not. Why would I want to answer the question?
245-You just did.
Maybe she didn’t want to answer the question but she couldn’t stop herself.
Just an idea.
247- More like I just felt silly.
Would you rather- be an aspiring violinist that is very famous or to be awesome at all other instruments with no fame?
249- Be awesome at everything else. I need some luck at piano.
249- all other instruments with no fame. Being famous is too much work
251- Ha. Agreed.
234)
235) When I will die
236) paramesium, because they’re cool like that
240) Well, I guess answer it, since I just did
245) But of course!
250) piano! J’aime jouer piano! (is that right? What’s piano in Frnch? :???:)
New Question!
What’s more distracting?
a) an elephant stampeding through Times Square
b) a dog barking jingle bells
c) an elvis impersonator singing Michal Jackson’s “Thriller”
d) a clown cartwheeling at a funeral
e) a man playing the piano, harmonica, tamborine, drums, and a xylaphone at the same times
f) a UFO flying streaking through the air and suddenly exploding in the sky
g) a younger/older sibling
h) cheese
254- Cheeze of course!
Would you rather: be dumb and liked, or be mute and liked.
240 is a paradox.
254 – A dog stampeding through a funeral singing “Thriller” while playing the piano, harmonica, tambourine, drums, and the xylophone that explodes randomly over your sibling who is eating cheese.
Yes, I agree. Cheese wins b a mile.
249- Great at every other instrument.
254- A), Elephants stampeding through Times Square.
254- a younger sibling streaking through the air and suddenly exploding into cheese.
Seriosly though… UFO. Whee!
86- Funny how killing indirectly is easier than killing directly.
COME TO THE POLLING PLACE!
Would you rather live in an underwater habitat, on a flying island, or in an underground city?
262 – Flying island!
262- Underground city (the UnderWorld!)
240- shrodedinger’s cat! (I know I completely mutilated the spelling)
262- just to be different I’ll say the underwater place
snow or rain??
265- I don’t know. I like rain, but I like snow too, even if I haven’t really done anything with it. Huh.
Mr. Joe or HPBs?
262) Underwater!
What’s a better cheese in your opinion?
Chedder, Swiss, Brie, Roquefort, Gouda, or Provolone?
(Roquefort )
Well! No one has responded!
I myself prefer the Roquefort because of its loverly scrumptiousness.
Did anyone here celebrate Earthday?
I did. And out of your options, I’d say either provolone or brie.
Bried is good. Especailly with strawberries.
Alas. I think this thread is dying.
New Poll: What would save this thread?
a) a storm of bunnies
b) a rhinocerous chasing everyone on this thread
c) a tornado dumping everyone here
d) a new thread
e) a penguin tapdancing
e) or d). Thou art very random, kiwimuncher!
I’m for all five, myself.
Probably D. E brings back negative memories of Happy Feet. I was never sure why that movie was supposed to be good.
Here’s a few good ones:
Which of Miayazaki’s (I don’t care if I spelled his name wrong) four most famous films do you like the most?
a) My Neighbor Totoro
b) Kiki’s Delivery Service

Which franchise is your favorite?
a) Mario

Best ice cream = Cookie Dough!!!!!!!!
271: w00t! *high five* Hiyao Miyazaki! I personally like Nausicca in the Valley of the Wind, My Neighbor Totoro, and Kiki’s Delivery Service the best. In that order; Nausicca and Totoro come really close.
262: FLYING ISLAND ALL THE WAY.
Mario! Let’sa go!
COOKIE DOUGH.
A new thread would do it.
I would have to say Zelda or Sonic. I mean, without a power-up, all mario can do is jump on guys and destroy blocks
As for ice-cream flavor, there was this one Ben and Jerry’s stand at the mall, and they had a flavor called “Chocolate Therapy”. It was the best thing ever
New Poll:
What would you do to save a thread…
a) Post adds on the random thread
b) Post adds on the random thread surrounded by HPBs and
c) Track down other MBers and tell them individually to come
d) Pie other MBers until they come
e) Sell your soul to the HPBs
f) Run across MB screaming
Run across MB screaming. I’ve done it before. Does anyone remember the “Friendly Hobo”? That was fun.
276- F) Run across MB screaming.
271- Kiki’s Delivery Service.
276- I’ve already done b), c), and f).
As long as you don’t do e) *shudders*
Favorite emoticon? Hmm. Probably .
278- Oh, now I get it. Thanks! I almost forgot about this thread!
Run across MB screaming.
Without looking it up, do you know what NASA stands for?
(And no, I’m NOT just asking because I’m nerdy. I’m asking because there was a thing on TV where they interviewed a lot of people on the street and they didn’t know.)
National Aeronautics and Space Association. NASA.
Not quite.
*is a former NASA employee*
National Aeronautic and Space Association?
The plural was correct. You’re four-fifths right.
Really? That’s awesome…..D’you know, that somehow doesn’t surprise me to hear all that much…..
awesome! You were a NASA employee? What are you doing here?
In Boovish, naa’sa means soft and beige.
Never Answer Stupid Aliens.
Okay, we can have a few joke answers, but nothing disrespectful.
w00t! The True Meaning of Smekday!! Cat is named Pig!
Isn’t it National Aeronautics and Space Administration?
Yes.
282- People seriously didn’t know that? How far off were they? I mean, did they not know at all, or were they four-fifths right?
282.2- That’s, like, one of my favorite books ever….
Most of them said something like “National… no idea.”
What is the one thing (that is not otherwise crucial to surviving, i.e. air, water) that you could not live without?
I don’t know if you’re counting love as crucial to surviving, but if you’re not, then love. If you are counting it, then intellectual stimulation.
I’d say that the one thing that i could not live with out is conpanionship .
My favorite emoticon is . THough I most likely use and the most.
I couldnt’ live without love, learning, and cheese.
(282.1.1.3) About NASA: It’s a long story. The short version: Got restless, found a long, long string of other interesting things to do, including MuseBlog.
What are you most afraid of?
– Large, mean dogs. Especially Rottweilers and Dobermans.
– Death.
– Mothmen, although they probably don’t exist.
– Serial killers hiding under my bed / in my closet.
If you could change one thing about the world, what would you change?
Hm, I’d probably make it so everyone was treated equally. That or ending poverty.
More love and cheese.
Bees, wasps, hornets, etc.
I don’t know exactly.
– Squids and octopi.
– Being trapped underground and unable to get back to the surface.
– Drowning.
– The Earth being hit by an asteroid.
288.1- I would probably make it so that all benificiall wishes were granted. (For instance, a depressed terrorist wishing to be dead.)
Hmmmmmm. I think that would have potentially disatrous drawbacks.
How do you define beneficial?
282.3.1- Really? I thought it was National Aeronautics and Space Agency. And I’ve been to Cape Canaveral. Oh, well.
283.1- Oh. Wow.
“Aeronautics” was the word most people seemed to trip up on. The trick is just to remember that their leader is called the Administrator.
The way I wrote “The Administrator” makes it sound like he’s some scary mysterious faceless guy… actually, his name is Charles Bolden.
Yes, “Administrator” is a scary word, isn’t it?
I mean, the way I said it, it sort of sounded like he’s just called “The Administrator”, as if he doesn’t have a real name.
*Mental image of a man in a suit with his face covered in shadow looking out a window at the Vehicle Assembly Building in typical spy leader manner*
289.1- That’s the whole point!
289.2- Something that helps the whole world.
Define “help”. With any definition, it’s impossible.
The point is to have disatrous drawbacks? What? I’m confused. Wishes that are defined as “helpful”, no matter how innocent they may seem, can turn disatrous. For example, if someone wishes for a sunny day in order o do some important outdoor event, then that’s helpful that it doesn’t rain, right? But disatrous effects can occur because of it! Like crops not getting enough water. Everything effects everything else, so wishes happening all over the place would most likely not be a good idea.
288- the dark, and… hair? But not the way that you think. Probably. I have like an overactive gag reflex. I can set it off by thinking about something being in my mouth, sticking my finger an inch into my mouth (with it not touching anything) or putting my finger in my ear. (Meanwhile, my brother can touch the back of his throat with no problems. go figure.) So I’m not scared of hair in general, that would be silly (I am a boy with longer hair than any other person in my class), but the kind of hair that you find in the bathtub after someone has taken a shower. Guugh.
Off of that, which is worse, fingernails on a chalkboard or a hair half in your throat, half in your mouth? you already know my answer.
Hair in my throat.
Finally! Everyone in my class says otherwise. Although maybe because I just said hair in the mouth, not mentioning the throat. So if those were the choices, which would you pick?
I have a horrid fear of deep water. I had to leave the movie theatre when it was showing a preview for “DisneyOceans”. The only way to describe it is that I feel like I’m suffocating, as if I am really underwater.
I’d make the world waaaaaaay more peaceful.
My favorite emoticon… I . My argument was that I might cause some MBers mirror neutrons to fire, and then they would , and finally the blog would be a happier place… Besides, it’s cute.
What I’m most afraid of:
-big, breaking waves
-capsizing in cold water alone in a small boat and getting trapped under the sail… I hate sailing boats under 15ft (*is a snob*). But my parents force me too because apparently, I’m talented and “I’ll get over it”. I haven’t got over it for 5 years.
– clearing my mask underwater
-not being able to breathe-the sort of crushing feeling on Sunday night when you realize you frittered the day away and you have tons of important homework and tests which you need to do but no-one can help you and it feels like someone is squeezing you in the middle and you can’t breathe and you´re so afraid- like a panic attack, only less drastic.
-my french teacher
You’ve taken scuba training, too? Mask clearing, especially when it’s totally removing the mask and then putting it on again, is very scary. But pulling out your mouthpiece and blowing bubbles until you get it back is the scariest of all.
New Question!
Which is better? Pie of Cake?
Pie.
ALWAYS PIE!!!!!!!!
cake tastes bad :C people think im weird because i dont like cake
but its all sugar and fakeness and yuckk!!
Cake, if it’s homemade. But of course, pie is only just behind it.
For the most part pie, but I have to admit I looooooooooove ice cream cakes…
I agree. Pie.
295.2) Well, it depends on the cake. I love poundcake, it’s not too sweet. However, those cakes you get at the grocery store with all of that icing on it is too sweet for me. One time, I made an awesome organge cream poundcake with organe slices in a ring around the top and a lite iceing. It was wonderful.
New Question!
If you had to travel around the world, which way would you go?
Hmm….
North by Northwest by North by Northwest by North…
Hello? Where are the people? Maybe this needs a new thread?
Kiwis, Katchup, Cheese, Brocolli. What a food filled life you lead.
294.1) For me it’s mainly taking the mask off, since I’m very sensitive about anything in/near my eyes because I wear hard contacts (though I take them out for diving). I don’t mind taking the regulator out, since I spent lots of time snorkeling with friends as a kid, and one way of settling arguments was to knock the other persons snorkel out…
295- Pie. Key lime or apple pie.
297) Depending on where I start. But I would definitely include a lot of tropical places in my to-go list.
But in snorkling, you’re usually at a depth were it’s OKAY to hold your breath.
But if someone kicks you in the guts you end up blowing bubbles too… Ah, the sweet memories of the blissful, innocent and peaceful days of childhood. I guess I’m pretty used to being underwater, except the part about the eyes. At least I had my dad as dive buddy; his hallmark in sports is “Don’t panic”. The decompression part is freaky does keep you on your toes. But at least I understand it: I still don’t get the finer sciences for clearing your mask, which is stopping me from being certified.
New thread. Pease? Pretty pease?
What animal would I be if I weren’t a human?
297– East. I’d get to Europe faster that way.
301–Hmm, I’ll have to think about that one. Maybe a cat…
Good, I love* cats!!
*loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove_cats!
I would be a bird. Maybe a bluebird, because they have it good. My favorite animals, red pandas (endangered *sob*) and horses (I would NOT want to have to carry people all the time) wouldn’t exactly be appetizing to me.
301- I would be either a snake, wolf, or hawk, I can’t decide. All three have a certain appeal.
Pencil or Pen?
Pen. Definitely pen. Or maybe an erasable pen, but those often don’t work very well and the ink fades easily on them…
Pencil, if it has an eraser.
I’d be a cat, probably.
Depends. What if the eraser wasn’t vulcanized? Then it would go all hard. If it was a Ticonderoga pencil, then PENCILS FTW!
304) Pencil!
Holey or non-holey cheese?
What’s on your iPod/mp3? I have 110 Beatles songs (shocker!), some Joni Mitchell, Elvis Costello, Billy Joel, R.E.M., Led Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder, Natasha Beddingfield, and Paul Simon. After that, I have a random assortment of songs that I happen to like, along with several songs from the soundtrack of movies/musicals such as Wicked, Shrek, and Hairspray. And a couple books on tape. Yay!
LOVE Wicked!
Wicked!
Far too much to list here. I have 1561 songs, 77 videos, 640 podcasts, and 6385 photos, as well as 4 games. Total: 36.8 gig. I have 269 Beatles songs from Abbey Road, the White Album, the Beatles Anthology, The Beatles: Live at the BBC, Let It Be, Magical Mystery Tour, Revolver, Rubber Soul, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, and 1. As for the other, erm, 1292 songs, it’s a huge mix of all sorts of different styles, e.g. J-pop, Latin, classical, rap, classic rock, reggae, various metals, jazz, et al. No country, though.
*bows to music pwner*
307-I have mostly rock, soft rock/alternative, pop, a little country, (mostly Taylor Swift, but some others), and then what I call the “random” type. That mostly includes music from movies, TV shows, musicals, etc. as well as some other random stuff that my siblings put on there. Darn those siblings!!
Erm….. let me look…..
Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Alan Jackson, The Beatles, the Beach Boys, Billy Joel, Blake Lewis, Bon Jovi, Brad Paisley, Celine Dion (yeah, I’m just a scrollin down the list alphabetically ), ColdPlay, Counting Crows, Daughtry, David Archuleta, David Cook, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Elliot Yamin, Elvis, Faith Hill, The Fray, Hanz Zimmer (awesomest composer eva), Jerry Lee Lewis, Jimmy Buffet, Jordin Sparks, Josh Groban, Keith Urban, Kellie Pickler, Kelly Clarkson, Kenny Chesney, LeAnn Rimes, Lee Ann Womack, Leona Lewis, Lonestar, MAriah Carey, Martina McBride, Michael Jackson, Natasha Bedingfield, Newsboys, Nickleback, One Republic, Phil Collins, Queen, REM, Rascal Flatts, Shania Twain, Sheryl Crow, Smash Mouth, 3 Dog Night, Tim McGraw, Trisha Yearwood, Whitney Houston, and Yo-Yo Ma. Plus a few others that I didn’t deem worthy of being listed. Goodness. That’s a long list.
Does anyone else like Paramore?
My sister just went to a Paramore concert.
I’ve never heard of it.
309- Paramore’s okay… I’m gonna get Riot (the whole album)…
…big white walls and in the halls there’s people looking through…
The beatles (A lot of those) Natasha Bedingfield, Taylor swift, Carrie Underwood, and a lot of musicals
I lurve carrie Underwood too!
New Question:
What/Who rules Antarctica?
a) penguins
b) nerds
c) guacamole
d) wonkledevvers
e) Clinton
f) unidentified flying objects
g) rubber duckies
h) Antarctica doesn’t exist. It’s all a conspiracy.
A) Penguins. There are a lot of nerds there, living on research bases, but no human can “rule” it, because of the international treaty.
D, because I like the name.
Why don’t cats fly?
A) Because they don’t have wings!
B) They don’t feel like it.
C) Because they made a deal with the birds.
D) Because they didn’t evolve that way.
E) Because God created them that way.
F) They do fly! It’s a conspiracy!
G) They do fly! We just haven’t seen them do it!
G.
E
i) none of the above-all the creatures that live there rule it.
I like all sorts of cheese, unless it’s blue (in the mold sense).
a) Power to Penguins!
Music;
I have an I-pod shuffle and I share the itunes library with my parents and sister. Which means there are several thousand songs, and basically every genre. I’m more of a pop fan myself, but I also like Irish. And I love songs that have a beat you can run to. *admits to having Kayne West and Enya on the same I-pod shuffle*. I basically just put on long programs and memorize them & the lyrics to the songs when I’m bored. The only thing I dislike is DPM (dead people music, aka Strauß, Brahms, Beethoven and all those decomposing composers). The only exceptions are the blue danube waltz and the Radetzky march. Quite the opposite of my sister, who thinks of my Nena collection as boring and loves DPM, especially if it has violins in it. (and on and on…)
Hmm, so you like Irish music? Folk or modern stuff? I personally can’t stand the folk songs (the lyrics bug me) but I do know a lot about it because my family likes it.
You might want to look at Quebecois music. Look up Le Vent du Nord and Vishten. Quebecois music has some Irish influence, so you might like it…
b) nerds
I can’t list all of it, what with 3,857 songs but here are some of my favorites:
Fountains of Wayne, Keane, Hellogoodbye, Sweeney Todd (london in concert version not Johnny Depp), Enya, Loreena McKennit, REM, Springsteen, Rise Against, Flushed Away Soundtrack, Chocolat Soundtrack, lots of movie soundtracks and musicals, etc.
New question:
Which version of “Live and let die” is best:
a) the guns n’ roses version
b) the Paul McCartney version
c) I’ve never heard of the song before
I’ve never heard the guns n’ roses version, so b.
I thought “Live and let die” was a James Bond movie.
Paul McCartney wrote the song for the movie.
C).
A. Definitely.
C.
New question: (Not sure if this has been asked before, it probably has but oh well…)
What is your favorite thread? (on MuseBlog) Which one do you post the most on? (I’m guessing that for most people that’ll be the same answer, but I’m still curious to see the answers)
SFTDP, but is anyone actually on here? It seems like this thread has become completely dead….
316: b. This is not because of my apparent obsession, it’s just I’ve never heard the guns’n’roses version.
Question: Does anybody think that the apocalypse predicted to occur on December 21, 2012, will ACTUALLY happen? Or is it just another Y2K?
No way.
No way. No chance. Nuh uh. Another Y2K sums it up perfectly.
It’s theoretically impossible. However, it is one of the largest times in celestial alignment, and I’ve heard that at least three different ancient civilisations have predicted apocalypse in that same time period independently. Sounds cool, doesn’t it?
All I know is it’s going to be interesting. Imagine if it was late… We’d all be opening presents right before we were incinerated.
-A
321- Duh! Of course!
You think it IS going to happen?
What rules the world?
a) cockroaches
b) humans
c) ruber duckies
d) UFOs
e) HPBs
f) the kokonspiracy
g) technology
h) all of the above
i) none of the above
j)all of the above and more
I. Ducks and dung beetles rule!
323-C)Rubber duckies!! DUH!!
323.1- Good point. They are high up there. But actually, I was thinking A.
323- F.
What do you think is your most embarrassing post?
I’m not really sure…maybe my first ever post, which was on the Books & Reading thread, even though it was supposed to be on the Welcome Neophytes thread. I basically said “Hi!” right in the middle of the conversation. Without any punctuation or capitalization, of course…
Gosh, I have to choose?…
GAPA’s, could we please have another thread for this???? I mean, besides the fact that it’s pretty much dead, there are so many replies and stuff that it’s really confusing to read…thanks.
326 – Most of them.
We need a new thread! This one is ancient!
Indeed, plus we ahve over 400 comments.
